1.2.2 Update

The Packet Ripper development team is hard at work on the next version of Packet Ripper. Version 1.2.3 will bring some awesome features and improvements. However, the wait for 1.2.3 will be just a bit longer. As a result, we’ve decided to release an updated build for our current stable release, version 1.2.2, that addresses some issues and adds some features which we think should be out as soon as possible.

Issues that were fixed in this build include:

  • Fixed latency issues with sendto when the buffer is longer than 200.
  • Fixed a bug with LoadLibraryExW injection method not working in some Windows versions.
  • Fixed a bug with the string parser not being able to handle specific wide char characters.
  • Fixed a bug with python.dll missing for some users.

In addition to the fixes, we have also added some new features:

  • Enhanced the parser types by adding 'ignore' and 'hex' options for more flexible parsing.
  • Improved logging with more detailed information when DLL injection fails.
  • Introduced both internal and external resend functionalities for better handling of packet retransmissions.

These builds are now live on both our update servers and via our website. If you’re a Packet Ripper Free user, you can download a new installer here. If you’re a Personal, Commercial, or Enterprise user, you can request a new installer via the license recovery page or update your existing client.
